Screenshot

Monetization is a method by which you earn money from a product, service, creation, intellectual property, or even your personal brand. For example, if you were creating an e-book or courses, you could choose to add in a social platforms for purchases, charge for downloads, include coaching, or all of the above.

Having followers alone isn’t going to get you paid because followers ain’t cash, you need to monetize

1: One on One Coaching

This is the simplest form of monetizing
You teach someone who is interested in learning the skill you have
For example:
Let’s say you are a sales coach
You can offer one on one coaching to other online coaches who aren’t good with sales to help them close more clients for their business/offer
In one on one coaching usually the goal is to take your client from their current situation in our example it’s online coaches who are weak at sales or don’t know sales to their desired outcome which is knowing how to sell to their audience and make more sales.

Your goal with one on one coaching should be to get your clients the promised result In return they will give you a testimonial which you will use in the next methods I’m going to talk about
To price this
Use this formula
The value you provide in $ amount divide by 10
Example:
If you provide them with a solution that can make them $1000
Then you can price your coaching offer at $100.
Tools to use:

  • Calendly to book meetings
  • Zoom to get on calls with your clients

2: Group Coaching:

This is similar to one on one coaching
But you will be teaching a group of people instead of one on one.
The best part is you can teach the same thing to a 100 people and spend the same amount of time as teaching one person.
However, you start doing this when you have testimonials and results from one on one coaching
Use that to attract 10-20 people
You can have 4-5 calls in total so you can spread your teachings into lessons
You can charge $100-$1000 depending on the impact your coaching will have on your clients
Tools to use:

  • Landing page to attract people to your offer (use carrd)
  • Calendly to book meetings
  • Zoom to get on calls
  • Discord/slack to communicate with the group

3: Video Courses / e-books:

Once you have proven results and testimonials collected from all your previous clients in one on one coaching and group coaching
It’s time for you to separate your time from your business.
This method allows you to earn passive income
As anyone can buy your course anytime of the day without you being present.
You need to bundle it up with modules that will direct your ideal client from their current situation to their desired situation
The same stuff you were teaching your clients in one-on-one coaching and group coaching, you can record the whole process with helpful slides and your talking and make it a course, this is what building it once and selling it twice means.

In the first one its the one-on-one coaching and group coaching, you teach one person or a group and then repeat the whole process again.
The second one is you build your course once, and don’t have to repeat that process to sell more

Tools to use:

  • To record explainer videos with a slideshow and your voice + face use loom
  • Landing page for people to see your offer use carrd
  • Gumroad for payment processing and hosting your course

4: Community:

Everyone wants to do stuff online and build a business
But they give up along the way
Because they don’t have a community that keeps them accountable.
You can build a community where people can learn from you and get some sort of weekly/daily accountability.
Usually people either pay monthly or yearly for this
It’s a subscription based monetization method
You can offer:

  • Weekly calls.
  • Accountability.
  • Bundle up all your courses.
  • Produce weekly videos for your group.

And charge a monthly or yearly fee
You can price this at $10 to $100 a month depending on what you offer.
If you offer more weekly calls you can charge at the higher end, you can make the yearly subscription offer cheaper so more people will go for.
For example, Monthly would be $30, Yearly would be $249, many will go for the yearly as it’s cheaper when converted into per month.

Tools to use:

  • Landing page use carrd
  • Gumroad to collect recurring monthly fees
  • Circle to host your community (its a platform where creators and businesses build their paid communities)

These are the 4 main ways to monetize your social media and It could be YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, twitter, Email, or anywhere you can build an audience
to communicate your offer.
